Political Elites of Contemporary Portugal

This database presents data on the Portuguese political and economic elites from the early days of Constitutionalism (1820) to the present, including Prime Ministers, ministers and secretaries of state, Presidents of the Portuguese Parliament, members of various parliamentary chambers, civil governors, and mayors, as well as businesspeople and entrepreneurs. This database is a work in progress and continues to be updated on a regular basis.
