Archival Processing of the Document Collection of Conde de Ferreira Hospital Centre

The main goal of this project was to create a database with information on 64,340 clinical records of patients who were admitted to Conde Ferreira Hospital Centre, a healthcare unit belonging to Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto, recognized nationally and internationally in the field of Mental Health. The project included verifying all elements mentioned in the database to transform it into an effective research tool within the institution. Another objective was to clean the document collection and repackage it in acid-free boxes to ensure its proper physical preservation.
