This work aims at presenting the biographies of the individuals that governed the District of Bragança since the creation of this position, in the beginning of Liberalism, to its extinction in 2011, seeking to answer questions that are as simple as they are difficult to answer. Who were they? Their birthplace? What was their socio-professional area of recruitment? How old were they when they took office? How long was their terms? What other political positions did they hold? What publications did they leave us? Questions that remained unanswered until this moment, due to the fact that there was no publication that accurately recorded this information.
